About Michel Bourgeau
Michel Bourgeau is currently heading up the Treasure Valley (Boise) office for Conquest Insurance. Michel’s main responsibility is to provide solid insurance options for the agriculture community from a property/casualty and crop insurance standpoint. Michel has successfully completed the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) certification.
Bourgeau holds a bachelor’s in Business Management from Boise State University and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University. Since moving back to Idaho from Canada in 1994, Michel has been employed by Extended Systems, Hewlett Packard, Boise State University, and Saint Alphonsus in sales and marketing.
Michel played football at Boise State from 1980 to 1983 and was part of the 1980 National Championship team. Michel Played for ten years in the Canadian Football League with Ottawa and Edmonton before retiring from football in 1994 after winning the Grey Cup championship with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1993. Michel was inducted into the Boise State Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. Michel is an avid skier and spent several years coaching young ski racers at Bogus Basin.
