March 20, 2019 (BOISE, ID)– Night skiing enthusiasts have just a few more days this season to enjoy skiing and boarding under the lights at Bogus Basin. The nonprofit recreation area has announced that the last day for night skiing will be this Saturday, March 23rd. Operating hours on Saturday will be from 9:00am to 10:00pm.
The 2018-19 winter season at Bogus Basin will continue through the scheduled closing date of April 14th, and spring conditions remain excellent. Hours of operation beginning Sunday, March 24th will be Monday through Friday, 10:00am-4:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am-4:30pm. The winter tubing hill will be open Friday through Sunday until March 31st. Below is a list of events and activities that are planned during the final weeks of the season. About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain, and 165 acres for night skiing; eleven lifts and three people-mover carpets; an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails. Environmental education and community outreach programs serve over 20,000 individuals annually, primarily youth. Summer activities include the Glade Runner, a 4,251 foot mountain coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport.
