December 29, 2017 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin announced today that weekend-only night skiing will begin Saturday, December 30th. The nonprofit mountain recreation area will operate the Deerpoint Chairlift (#1), Morning Star Chairlift (#2), Coach Chairlift (#7), as well as three surface lifts located near the Simplot Base Area, until 10:00pm.
“Our team is managing the terrain so we can offer as many options as possible to our guests while we wait for new storm activity,” said Director of Mountain Operations, Nate Shake.
Early season conditions continue and guests are encouraged to ski with caution. Weekend-only night operations will continue, as conditions allows.
A New Year’s Day Fireworks show is planned for Monday, January 1st at 6:30pm, near the Simplot Base Area. On Monday, the Deerpoint, Morning Star, and Coach Chairlifts will operate from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The Simplot Lodge will remain open until 8:00pm.
